Dortmund ace won’t be heading for Stamford Bridge after all.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has apparently ruled the club out of the race to sign Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus in January after he was asked about his plans to move for the Germany international on Monday, according to the Metro.

The former Bundesliga winner had been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge as a part of a cash-plus-player deal involving Andre Schurrle, but the Portuguese’s admission appears to have ended that possibility.
Chelsea aren’t exactly in desperate need to strengthen their side at the moment anyway, but the fact that the player has been ruled out until 2015 with an ankle injury has made him a far less appealing prospect for Mourinho.
However, the Special One is known for playing mind games with the press and his opponents, and his comments on Monday could very well be a ruse to lull his rivals into a false sense of security.
