Blues to battle the Gunners for signing of Ipswich Town star Tyrone Mings.

Prising Mings away from the clutches of Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy will not easy, however, with the Tractor Boys second in the Championship following a 4-1 thrashing of Leeds United on Saturday afternoon and in with a genuine chance of a return to the Premier League after more than a decade away.
This means that it may take bids of around £10 million to tempt reclusive Ipswich owner Marcus Evans to sell – which could test just how impressed Mourinho and Wenger have been by Mings’ progress.
