Chelsea ace Mohamed Salah is in Italy to complete his move to Roma, but Fiorentina are set to block him from securing a deal.
The Egyptian international spent the second half of last season on loan in Florence, with the Viola having the option of renewing that deal this year.

Having opted to do so, Salah then vetoed the move and sparked a war with the club which has threatened to lead to legal action.
Although the Chelsea winger arrived in Italy on Wednesday ahead of a medical with Roma tomorrow, it appears as though Fiorentina aren’t ready to let him finalise his move just yet.
“Our point of view has always been the same,” director general Andrea Rogg said, as reported by Football Italia.
“We believe the player has a contract with Fiorentina, and now we’ll find an adequate solution. Right now we’re primarily talking with Chelsea, not Roma.
“Clearly, until there’s a solution, he can’t play.”
It remains to be seen what comes out of those discussions with the Premier League champions, but Salah isn’t expected to feature for Roma until their friendly on August 14 at the earliest.
