The 19-year-old has enjoyed a superb campaign in La Liga, looking like one of the best young defensive talents in Spain after a series of fine displays since being made first choice at the Mestalla.
Despite recent claims from the Daily Mirror that the Gunners looked to be leading the chase for his signature, new stories have emerged from the Mirror that Chelsea and City are now among the leading contenders, as well as Real Madrid.
Gaya no doubt looks a player who could make an impact in the Premier League, and will likely become the latest exciting youngster to be poached from Valencia after other big names such as David Silva, Juan Mata and Jordi Alba left the club for bigger things at a young age.
