Chelsea transfer rumours
The Blues may have been crowned Premier League champions over the weekend, but manager Jose Mourinho is already thinking about improving his team even further for another challenge next season, with two big-name United targets said to be in his sights.
According to the Daily Express, Chelsea want to compete with the Red Devils in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani (£35m) and Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne (£20m).
This would no doubt be a major blow for United as they themselves look to build a squad capable of challenging for the title, with these two identified by manager Louis van Gaal as realistic buys who could improve the team significantly.
In another surprise move, Chelsea are also linked with a move to snap up Juventus midfield veteran Andrea Pirlo on a free transfer.
