Chelsea midfielder Jon Obi Mikel is seeking a transfer away from Stamford Bridge this summer in search of consistent first team football.
The Nigeria international has started just two matches since Nemanja Matic moved to the club in the January transfer window, and the Daily Mirror claims he is looking to move on the next possible opportunity.
Mikel moved to Chelsea in summer 2006 after a rather strange dispute between the Blues and Manchester United and selling club FK Lyn Oslo for his signature.
Chelsea won out, paying the Red Devils £12 million in the process, and Mikel has helped the west London club claim the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Community Shield, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League titles in his time at Stamford Bridge.
The 26 year-old is often criticised for a perceived lazy approach to the game, but his record cannot be argued with, and he has been a valuable member of the Chelsea squad.
