The Egyptian winger, who spent just one year with the Blues after joining from FC Basel last winter, was loaned to the Serie A side as part of the club’s deal to sign Juan Cuadrado.
Having struggled for playing time at Stamford Bridge, Salah now says he has spoken with Mourinho about a permanent exit from the club.
“At the moment I don’t intend to return to Chelsea,” the 22-year-old was quoted by talkSPORT.
“I want to do well with Fiorentina. I spoke with [Chelsea manager Jose] Mourinho and told him I wanted to leave Chelsea and he was fine.
“The Italian League is of a high standard.”
