Blues and Everton charged by FA after bust-up at the Bridge
Tempers flared on Wednesday night as the West Londoners ran out 1-0 winners at home, but only after Gareth Barry had been sent off and Branislav Ivanovic appeared to put James McCarthy in a headlock.
Ivanovic has escaped punishment for his involvement in an incident that included most of the players on the pitch, but the FA decided the two sides had failed to control their teams and have subsequently charged them, reports BBC Sport.
Roberto Martinez said the defender should have seen red after the game, whilst Mourinho refused to comment and even walked out of an interview when asked about it.
