Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho dubs Phil Dowd ‘too fat’ to referee

The 51-year-old’s one man attack on officials in England doesn’t look set to end anytime soon, with Dowd the unfortunate recipient of Mourinho’s outburst this time.

According to the Mirror the Portuguese coach shouted ‘you’re too fat to referee’ during the 5-3 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on New Year’s Day.

Mourinho also apparently said Dowd should retire and that he had cost his team the points. The FA and Premier League say they are unaware of this incident as it wasn’t reported.
