John Terry wants a one-year contract extension at Chelsea
Since Jose Mourinho returned as manager at Stamford Bridge in 2013 the captain has been reinstated as a firm regular in the starting XI despite now being 34-years-old.
Terry’s current deal expires at the end of this season, but the defender is hopeful of an extension – although no negotiations have started with the club as yet.
“The club know my position. Hopefully I know theirs and it will get done. No talks have happened yet, but we both respect each other’s position,” the Englishman was quoted by the Daily Star.
