The Championship pair are interested in signing youngsters Patrick Bamford and George Saville on-loan, reports Sky Sports.
Boro have formed a strong relationship with Jose Mourinho’s team in recent times, with Josh McEachran, Nathaniel Chalobah and now Kenneth Omeruo all spending time at the Riverside Stadium.
Yet Wolves are hoping to steal a march on the North East club and land highly rated starlets Bamford and Saville themselves.
