The future of Eto’o may finally be resolved after failing to find a club thus far since leaving Stamford Bridge on a free transfer this summer.

According to talkSPORT the Black Cats are in talks with the 33-year-old over a surprise move, with manager Gus Poyet keen to add some experience to his attack.

Eto’o’s agent Claudio Vigarelli has been in talks with West Ham about a switch to Upton Park, but is unsatisfied with the offer from the East London side.
