Chelsea are said to be running the rule over star Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan with the view of making a £25.3million swoop during the summer transfer window, according to the Metro.

Manager Jose Mourinho is said to have sanctioned a team of representatives to head over to Lisbon to take a closer look at the Argentine wide man, Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims.
The 27-year-old has a relatively inexpensive release clause installed in his contract, which the Blues would be willing to trigger in order to bring him to Stamford Bridge over the coming weeks.
Chelsea are in the hunt for new options to add to their forward line ahead of a title defence and a renewed assault on the Champions League, and they believe that Gaitan is available at a very reasonable price.
Mourinho has told his scouts to keep an eye on the player for the remained of the season, as he feels that he would be a good fit in his team.
