The Serbian international has been one of the Blues’ best players this season, and has really shone in his second spell with the club since signing from Benfica last January.
Chelsea recently tied Eden Hazard down to a new contract, and will now be majorly boosted if they can get Matic to do the same.
Veteran defender and captain John Terry is also a priority for the Premier League leaders.
