Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is hopeful that Thibaut Courtois’ finger is not broken following an incident against Tottenham, reports Caught Offside.

The Belgian shot-stopper suffered in injury in the first half of Chelsea’s devastating 5-3 loss against Tottenham, but despite his injury was able to finish the match.
Whether the injury is a serious one or not is still unknown, but just to be safe the Portuguese manager is likely t rotate a little and start Petr Cech in the FA Cup this weekend.
“He (Courtois) has a problem in one of his fingers. Let’s see what happens,” he said.
“I don’t know (if it’s broken). I didn’t ask. I just asked if he could carry on at half-time (at Spurs).”
The Blues have seen their lead in the Premier League evaporate over the Christmas period, with Manchester City closing the gap after a number of points were dropped. An injury to their No.1 would be a further dent in their title credentials.
