Chelsea have completed the signing of Loic Remy from local rivals Queens Park Rangers, report the Mail, after personal terms between the two parties were agreed – although official confirmation from either club is yet to materialise.
Remy was left out of Queens Park Rangers’ Premier League clash against Sunderland this afternoon and both managers have suggested to the press that they expect Remy to arrive at Stamford Bridge before the close of the transfer window.
The France international is expected to join for a bargain fee of £10.5 million, the buy-out clause in the player’s contract for clubs in the Champions League, and will be Fernando Torres’ replacement at Stamford Bridge after the Spaniard joined AC Milan on a two-year loan deal.
