Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas is ready to let Florent Malouda leave the club if he manages to land Alvaro Pereira from Porto, according to talkSPORT.
Malouda was omitted from Chelsea’s starting line-up at home to West Brom on Saturday – but he came off the bench in the first-half and scored the winner.
Italian giants Juventus are understood to be keen on the France winger, whose long-term future has been cast into doubt with the imminent arrival of Juan Mata and Villas-Boas’ interest in Pereira
Juventus manager Antonio Conte was met with a swift rejection when he enquired about Manchester United’s Nani earlier this summer but he remains eager to land a quality wide-man before the transfer window shuts.
And Conte has now turned his attentions to Malouda – with sources in Italy suggesting Villas-Boas is open to selling the 31-year-old as he looks to freshen up his ageing side.
Villas-Boas worked with Pereira at Porto and has reportedly lodged a £17m bid for his services.
