There is some confusion over De Bruyne’s fitness.
Belgium and Chelsea fans have been left wondering whether they should worry or not today as differing reports emerge on Kevin De Bruyne’s fitness.
Sky Sports announced that the Blues star had been taking to hospital for an injury to the 22-year-old’s ankle, picked up whilst training with the Belgian national team.
However, De Bruyne then tweeted to say that there was no problem and that the attacking midfielder would be fit to play Croatia on Friday.
Just to say. I’m fully fit for the game against croatie. No injury at all

This leaves question marks over whether the Blues ace will be able to play in the World Cup qualifier or not – with Belgium only needing a draw to guarantee themselves a place in Brazil next year.
De Bruyne has been instrumental in that success and to date has three goals for the nation from 13 caps.
The midfielder has had less opportunities at Stamford Bridge however, despite returning from a very successful loan spell with Werder Bremen at the end of last season.
Manager Jose Mourinho fielded De Bruyne in the west London club’s first two Premier League matches, but the player has since fallen out-of-favour and was not even in the squad for the 1-3 win at Norwich City on Sunday.
Mourinho has six attacking midfielders at the 50-year-old’s disposal at Chelsea currently and it looks as the Belgian is bottom of that pecking order.
