Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has insisted that the players are still behind coach Jose Mourinho despite reports to the contrary.
The Premier League champions have made a slow start to the defence of their title, and have already fallen eight points behind rivals Man City.

However, despite suggestions that there is a growing sense of frustration at the club, Begovic has insisted that they are all focused on getting back on track as soon as possible.
“Obviously from a results point of view it’s not where we want to be at the moment,” the Bosnia goalkeeper told Sportsmail.
“We need to improve, we know that. But we definitely will – we’ve got the quality and character to really push on and challenge for the title.”
With regards to Mourinho, the shot-stopper conceded that it is tough for them to block out the noise, but the entire coaching and playing staff remain on the same page.
“Those things are difficult for us. As players we respect him and we’re behind him. He’s behind us and we’re all very much together.”
Chelsea will hope to benefit from the international break to refocus, although they have a tough trip to Goodison Park to take on Everton on September 12.
