Brazilian starlet expected to move to Italy on loan for a year.
Chelsea youngster Wallace is moving closer to securing a loan move to Inter according to his agent, with negotiations continuing over personal terms.
The 19-year-old has been in talks with the Serie A club for weeks over a loan deal, and it appears as though an agreement could be imminent following the latest round of talks between the two clubs.
Boss Walter Mazzarri is set to introduce the three-man defence to the Nerazzurri this season, after successfully using it during his time at Napoli.
As a result, Wallace is likely to be deployed as the right wing-back in a 3-5-2, and it appears as though his agent is optimistic that a deal can reached sooner rather later.
“Can these be the decisive days for the transfer to Inter? I hope so,” agent Frederico Moraes told TMW as reported by Football Italia.
“The deal is not closed yet, but we are continuing negotiations. I prefer not to pick a date of the possible transfer to Inter.
“I can say we want to finalise everything as soon as possible, because it would be important for Wallace to be at the disposal of the Coach and settle into his new environment,” he added.
Moraes also moved to dismiss speculation suggesting that there was late interest from Napoli, revealing that the Partenopei had made enquiries prior to the player’s move to Chelsea but had not been in contact this summer.
The Brazilian youngster has received rave reviews since breaking into the Fluminense side last year, and it appears Mazzarri is closing in on landing his preferred target.
