Chelsea forward Samuel Eto’o has been named in Cameroon’s provisional 28-man squad for this summer’s World Cup.
The 33-year-old, who will be out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of next month, is set to feature in his fourth World Cup finals, having made his first appearance at France ’98.
Captain Eto’o is joined in the Cameroon squad by Barcelona midfielder Alex Song, who signed for the Catalan giants from Arsenal in August 2012.
Tottenham Hotspur left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto is also included.
The squad will be cut to 23 ahead of the tournament, which begins on June 12.
