Costa stamped on Liverpool stars Emre Can and Martin Skrtel during his side’s 2-1 aggregate victory over the Reds at Stamford Bridge. Following the events of Tuesday’s Capital One Cup semi-final, he’ll now miss the Blues’ crucial top of the table clash with Manchester City.
