Stamford Bridge striker remains Besiktas’ top summer transfer target.
Turkish giants Besiktas are still interested in signing Chelsea’s 29-year old striker Demba Ba this summer, reports the Daily Star.
Besiktas have long been interested in signing the Senegalese forward, and although there have been suggestions from the Blues camp that their boss Jose Mourinho might elect to keep Ba at Stamford Bridge next season, Besiktas are continuing to monitor Ba’s situation.
Mourinho had been impressed with the former Newcastle man’s goal conversion rate in crucial games towards the end of last season, and has therefore decided to give the club’s £8 million acquisition another chance to impress.
The Daily Star though reports that the Blues might be ready to sell Ba if they get a good price for him since they are set to recruit Atletico Madrid ace Diego Costa this summer.
