The Blues are already said to be pondering a move for Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne, but they are now turning their attentions to the Everton star.
Coleman has been one of Everton’s more consistent performers this season, and his form has not gone unnoticed by Jose Mourinho. However, he is still under contract at Goodison Park until 2019, but Mourinho is reportedly ready to table a £20 million bid.
The 26-year-old joined the Toffees from Irish side Sligo Rovers back in 2009, and has since gone on to make 148 appearances for the club in the process.
Everton are said to be tracking Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya, who has failed to hold down a regular spot with the Spaniards this season.
