The Polish striker is only focussed on beating Bayern to the league title…
Chelsea target Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that any problem he had with his club Borussia Dortmund has now been forgotten, he told German newspaper Bild.
The 24-year-old striker also promised that his only focus was on beating Bayern Munich, the club he could join on a free transfer next summer, to the league title.
English clubs have been sniffing around the Polish forward, after Borussia Dortmund confirmed at the beginning of the summer that there was no way they would sell Lewandowski to Bayern in the same summer Mario Gotze left to join the treble-winners.
Chelsea could have swooped for him as a backup for their primary target Wayne Rooney, and Arsenal might have also turned to the 36-goal hitman after missing out on Gonzalo Higuain and Luis Suarez.
However, after Dortmund tripled Lewandowski’s wages, the striker has put all rumours on his future to bed.
“The situation is now that I will stay in Dortmund for one more year,” he confirmed
“We have settled all our disagreements and talked things over. There are no more problems. We are chasing Bayern.”
