Paris Saint-Germain striker and rumoured Chelsea target Edinson Cavani insists he is happy at the club and is hoping to play alongside Angel Di Maria this season, according to Marca.
The Uruguay international has long been linked with an exit from the Ligue 1 giants, having struggled to make the desired impact in his first season with the club last year, though he insists he is happy where he is.
Chelsea and Manchester United have been among his main suitors, while the United have also been strongly linked with Real Madrid star Di Maria.
However, the Argentine international is being widely tipped to join PSG, which is a potential signing that Cavani says he would welcome warmly, as he is a quality player.
“We are always looking to add new elements to the team,” the former Napoli forward said. “Angel Di Maria is quality. He would be welcomed in Paris.”
On his future at the Parc des Princes, he added: “I feel great here and I am sure that I will stay in Paris. I’m fine and have a contract.”
