Atletico Madrid forward wanted by Chelsea.
Chelsea are eying a move for Atletico Madrid’s prolific forward Diego Costa, according to the Daily Mirror.
The £35m-rated striker is on blistering form and has scored 12 goals in just ten appearances this season, including two in one Champions League start.
Costa, who is wanted by both Spain and Brazil, was targeted by Liverpool over the summer but opted to sign a new contract with Atletico.
Even so, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is keen to make the 25-year-old his central striker and could move for the player as soon as January.
The Portuguese missed out on Wayne Rooney this summer and although Fernando Torres is on good form, the Spaniard is yet to score in the Premier League this season.
