The 17-year-old is yet to make an appearance in the top flight of Italian football but the Metro believe Jose Moruinho is readying a whopping £2.5 million bid for his signature.
However, the newly crowned Premier League champions will likely have to compete with Arsenal for the teenager’s signature who are also said to be interested, however Chelsea are favourites.
The Blues are keen on reinforcing their defensive options next season, say the Metro, and Scalera would be the ideal signing to provide another option but not demand so much game time to be kept happy.
