Chelsea transfer news.
The West Londoners have been in hot pursuit of Kramaric, but the Croatia international is dubious about how much game time he would get should he move to Stamford Bridge.
Jose Mourinho had initially thought about loaning the forward to Leicester for the remainder of the season, but Premier League rules will not allow this to happen.
Therefore Kramaric would have been shipped out to feeder club Vitesse Arnhem and the 23-year-old feared he would simply become one of the players perennially out on-loan from West London.
This doubt has seen the Foxes now unexpectedly move ahead in the race for the Croatian’s signature and the attacker is expected to head to the King Power Stadium ahead of a medical with the relegation candidates.
Kramaric has been in outstanding form for Rijeka this term, scoring 28 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions in 2014/15.
