Chelsea transfer talk: £106.5m triple swoop, Blues closing in on Man United target Gareth Bale, Cech will not be going to Arsenal
Kondogbia is currently on Ligue 1 squad Monaco, who is third in the league standings. The Monaco midfielder is only 22 years old, so a move to the Premier League may be just what he needs to advance his career.
He has been pursued by both Chelsea and Arsenal, but Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is planning for the Blues to bid on Kondogbia in the summer.
However, Kondogbia said that he is happy with what he is doing at Monaco right now although he did not rule out news that he may transfer to the Premier League.
“It is difficult to leave when you feel good at a club, but in football you never know,” Kondogbia said to the Daily Star.
Kondogbia’s most notable moment of the 2014-15 Ligue 1 season came when Monaco defeated Arsenal in the first leg of the last-16 Champions League and he scored a goal in that shocking win.
