Arsenal transfer news
The Czech Republic international has found himself on the bench this season behind new first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who took over as number one after a highly successful three-year loan stint in La Liga with Atletico Madrid.
Cech now seems likely to make an exit from Stamford Bridge at the end of this season as he remains one of the best in the world in his position and surely won’t settle for another season of being second choice.
Arsenal had emerged as contenders to move for the experienced shot-stopper, according to the Daily Telegraph, but it is now said that they have little chance of persuading the Blues to let him make the move across London to the Emirates Stadium, due to the possible title rivalry between the two clubs next season.
