Atletico Madrid star ‘considering’ £43m Chelsea move this summer
It was announced today that the German will not sign a new contract with the Bundesliga giants with his deal set to expire in 2016.
With that in mind it’s believed that a number of clubs will test Dortmund’s resolve this summer with Man United thought to be majorly interested in securing his services according to the Daily Express.
However, the Express also site reports in Italy which suggest Chelsea are now looking to land the midfielder and see him as an ideal replacement for John Obi Mikel who has been linked with a shock exit to European champions Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho was said to be a fan of Gundogan when he was boss of Los Blancos and even sees him as potentially the missing link in Chelsea’s quest for a Champions League trophy tilt next season after a lacklustre display in the competition this campaign.
