Fernando Torres has been thoroughly unimpressive in Milan.
Chelsea are set to offer Spanish international striker Fernando Torres out on a free transfer if AC Milan choose to terminate his loan deal in January, report the Mirror, concluding the disastrous career trajectory of a player who the Blues spent £50 million on from Liverpool.

Torres joined Pippo Inzaghi’s Milan side on a two-year loan deal in the summer, taking him to the conclusion of his Stamford Bridge contract, but the Spaniard’s displays in Serie A have been so disappointing that the club are reportedly set to terminate the deal in January, sending him back to Chelsea.
With Didier Drogba and Loic Remy both having been signed in the summer and proven to be more effective than Torres, it is hard to see him having much of a Stamford Bridge future – but equally tough to see a team meeting his exorbitant Chelsea wages.
