Blues set to cash in on World Cup winner to finalise Reus capture.
Chelsea are set to cash in on German international forward Andre Schurrle in order to finally close in on the deal to sign Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, according to the Metro.
Reus has no shortage of potential suitors should he move on, which is expected when his release clause with the former Bundesliga champions set to drop to less than £20million.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is already known to be a fan, and reports close to Stamford Bridge are now claiming that he will now proactively seek to cash in on Schurrle at some point in the next three weeks.
Chelsea will likely try and find a buyer for the player back in the Bundesliga, though French giants Paris Saint Germain are also thought to be keen on snapping him up.
However, there is also said to be Premier League interest in his signature with both Arsenal and Chelsea monitoring the situation.
