Chelsea could be set to go to court in order to complete a deal to sign Brazilian teenager Nathan from Atletico Paranaense, according to The Express.
The 19-year-old had looked poised to join the Blues, as he flew to London last week to undergo a Stamford Bridge medical ahead of a proposed £4.5m transfer.
However, reports in South America claim that the move could be in doubt because of a better financial offer that has been tabled by Porto.
Apparently, Atletico are keen to cash in on Porto’s interest, but Chelsea feel that they already had a watertight agreement and are therefore considering legal action.
Nathan has been capped 14 times by Brazil at Under-20 level, scoring three goals.
Chelsea have a strong Brazilian contingent already, with Oscar, Willian, Filipe Luis and Ramires among Jose Mourinho’s current first-team squad.
