Mauro Icardi has ended speculation over a summer transfer by signing a new contract at Inter Milan.
The 22-year-old striker was reportedly a target for Chelsea and had also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur.

It was thought that Inter’s failure to qualify for the Champions League could prompt him to leave the San Siro, but Inter have been able to secure Icardi’s long-term future by tying him down until 2019.
Icardi scored 22 goals for the Nerazzurri this season to finish joint-top scorer in Serie A alongside Luca Toni.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho could instead move for Manchester United flop Radamel Falcao, Aston Villa target man Christian Benteke or Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain.
