Apparently the future of this Southampton starlet has taken a twist in the last few days as the Red Devils are said to be closing in on a £30m deal.
However, their lack of Champions League football could swing the favour back towards the Bridge and Shaw is also a self confessed Chelsea fan.
The club need a new left-back as Ashley Cole is departing the side he has been with for nearly eight years and at 18-years-old this Saints ace is a replacement for the future.
