Diego Costa completes Chelsea switchChelsea confirmed in a short statement that they have completed their long-rumoured deal for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, having met the players £32 million buy-out clause.

Costa scored 36 goals in 52 appearances for Atletico last season, as the Madrid side won the La Liga title and finished as runner’s up to local rivals Real in the Champions League.

The 25-year-old Spaniard will lead a new look front-line for the Blues next season, who will now turn their attention towards finding a suitable partner / understudy for their Brazilian-born forward.
