Cole speaks with foreign clubs out of respect for Blues

Released Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has admitted that he is only speaking to foreign clubs out of respect for Chelsea, according to the Metro.

The 33-year-old was released by the west Londoners at the end of last season, and is now currently looking for a new side to ply his trade with.

Having been linked with Liverpool, though, he has confessed that a move abroad is likely out of respect for his former employers, with whom he spent a successful eight years.
