Chelsea have already signed some big names in Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa, but could lose some of their biggest names in the coming weeks. Transfer gossip from Stamford Bridge here:
Stamford Bridge stalwart warns he could leave
Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech could leave the club this summer if he is not assured of his first team place, according to the London Evening Standard.
The Czech custodian has been at Stamford Bridge for the last decade, but suggested via his agent that he could move on if he is no longer first choice.
The return of Thibaut Courtois to Chelsea after three years on loan at Atletico Madrid means Cech faces his biggest competition yet for the number one jersey, and he has no intention of remaining on the bench.
“If he were to leave, we’re discussing two or three clubs in the world,” said Cech’s representative Viktor Kolar. The situation has developed in a way, of course, but for now he is staying at Chelsea.
“Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest and we have also communicated with Monaco.
“I would get in touch with (Andoni) Zubizarreta (Barcelona sporting director) and people at Real Madrid. These are clubs we would consider if Chelsea wanted to get rid of Petr.
