Blues consider bid for Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane

Real Madrid centre back Raphael Varane has requested a meeting with club executives as he is unhappy with his current deal, according to the Daily Express.

The 21 year-old is paid a comparatively low £25,000 per week, despite being perhaps the most talented young central defender in world football at present.

Chelsea are reportedly readying a bid for the France international.
