1) Luis Suarez (Liverpool)
After coming so close to leaving last summer, Liverpool star Luis Suarez looks set to be the centre of much transfer speculation once again this year, as Real Madrid remain keen on signing the Uruguayan sensation.
The Reds forward was even better this season than last, finishing as the top scorer in the Premier League with 31 goals in 33 games as his side came so close to winning the title for the first time in 24 years.
Suarez would no doubt command an astronomical fee, but the Spanish giants are never shy from spending the required money to land some of the world’s biggest names, twice recently breaking the world transfer record with moves for Cristiano Ronaldo (£80m) and Gareth Bale (£85m).
Despite his many controversies, it would be a big loss in terms of entertainment value for all neutrals if Suarez were to leave the Premier League at the peak of his powers, as he is surely the best player in the country at the moment, and up there with the very best in the world.
