8) Fernando Torres (Chelsea)
Chelsea’s record signing still hasn’t come good after three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues surely now ready to cut their losses on the £50m signing from Liverpool.
The Spaniard can leave the Premier League with mixed memories, having certainly established himself as one of the best strikers in the world during his spell at Anfield, even if his form has dipped dramatically in a blue shirt.
Torres’ first club Atletico Madrid are possible contenders to sign him, while Inter Milan are also considering him as one of several options based in this country as they eye new signings upfront.
