The full starting XIs for both the Blues and the Saints.
Chelsea host Southampton in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge with both sides looking to build on their decent early form.
The Blues lost mid-week in the Champions League to FC Basel and will be looking to put that disappointing defeat behind them with three points.
Striker Samuel Eto’o picked up a groin injury that match and as such misses the tie with the Saints, meaning Fernando Torres returns to the starting XI after only coming back to full fitness himself recently.
There is also a place in the first team for Juan Mata, although David Luiz is absent after groin problems.

For the visitors Luke Shaw starts at left-back despite fitness concerns and there is a rare place for striker Pablo Osvaldo, after struggling so far following a £15m transfer from AS Roma in the summer.
