Chelsea winger Eden Hazard added another award to his impressive list of personal gongs on Thursday night as he was named Barclays Player of the Season.
The 24-year-old Belgium international had already picked up the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards, although he was beaten by John Terry in the fanatix vote.
Hazard’s form this season has been nothing short of sensational. He has bagged 14 goals in 37 league starts, as well as providing eight assists.
Chelsea picked up a double at the Barclays award ceremony, as boss Jose Mourinho was also recognised for his achievements this term.
Mourinho was named Manager of the Season, rewarding him for delivering the Premier League title to Stamford Bridge for the first time since 2010.
