Brazilian “truly happy” about move to Milan.
Chelsea starlet Wallace is having a medical with Inter according to his agent as he closes in on a season-long loan deal.
The 19-year-old has been paired with a move to Serie A over the past few weeks, and it looks as though he is set to finalise the deal later on Tuesday afternoon.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho had already given the green-light for the move to take place, with the talented youngster more likely to receive regular playing time at San Siro in the new season.
With the arrival of new coach Walter Mazzarri, Wallace will be deployed in his preferred position as a right wing-back, with the former Napoli coach set to continue with his preference for a three-man defence.
Effectively, Wallace will be used in a similar fashion to Christian Maggio in Naples, and will look to develop and mature during his season-long loan with the Serie A giants.
“He is undergoing his medical right now,” his agent, Frederico Moraes told TMW as reported by Football Italia.
“Wallace is truly very happy that things all went for the best and now he just wants to wear the Inter jersey as soon as possible,” he added.
Moraes had been keen to tie up a deal for his client earlier this month, stating that the youngster needed time to integrate into the new squad and become familiar with his new team-mates ahead of an important season for both player and club.
It would appear that he is just details away from being officially announced as an Inter player for the new season, and will relish the prospect of working under Mazzarri.
