French side Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be preparing a huge £50m bid for Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard this summer, reports the Mirror.
The Belgian was the Blues’ top scorer last season, eclipsing all his teammates with his performances and netting 17 goals in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who has already showcased his intent to hold onto Hazard in the long run, will be unperturbed by PSG’s inquiries. The QIA-owned side has had its spending restricted this season due to its inability to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, and the only way they can land Hazard is if they sell some players this summer and raise cash for the purchase.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Hazard may have become unhappy under the Portuguese because of Mourinho’s tactics, and that in turn may result in his suitors enjoying a bit of an advantage in his pursuit.
