The classy Southampton star is exactly what Arsenal need to toughen up their infamously flaky midfield. Francis Coquelin was more than useful last season, but he’s not good enough on the ball. £25m is the asking price, say The Mirror. Pay it, Wenger!
CM: Jack Wilshere
Wilshere is Arsenal through and through. That is vital. He can be for Arsenal what John Terry is for Chelsea, what Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes were to Manchester United.
