Chelsea transfer news
Thibaut Courtois has been quoted as saying Chelsea should sign his old Atletico Madrid team-mate Radamel Falcao this summer, according to CaughtOffside.
The Belgian international has been quoted as saying that the 29-year-old “would be a very good player for Chelsea” – despite a terrible run of form on loan at Manchester United this season.
Still, Falcao starred at Atletico, as well as at Porto before them, and has shown that he can be one of the best strikers in the world on his day.
Still, whether or not he can cut it in the more fast paced Premier League remains to be seen, though he may prove a smart and cheap signing for Chelsea if he is just brought in to serve as a backup to Diego Costa.
