Central midfielders
Nemanja Matic, Ramires, John Obi Mikel, Marco van Ginkel, Cesc Fabregas
Frank Lampard has left, but Fabregas has arrived to replace him. In Matic and Ramires, Chelsea have two expert midfield battlers, while Mikel provides a solid backup anchorman option as well. van Ginkel’s season last time out was ruined by injury, but he’ll hope for more chances this time out, and the Fabregas signing should inject class and guile into the side.
